About Me

Tim Kircher is a Clinical Psychotherapist (LCSW) specializing in adolescent, adult, and family therapy. He maintains a private practice conveniently located in Shrewsbury, NJ just off Route 35.

Tim received his Master’s Degree in Adolescent and Family Therapy from Fordham University;  he is currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad range of clients.  Among his areas of expertise are adolescent behavioral and developmental issues, family counseling, and adult relationship issues.

Tim is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. His therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal and family life challenges. He integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With empathy and understanding, he works with each individual and family to help them build on their strengths while making positive changes in their lives.

In addition to being a prominent adolescent and relationship therapist, Tim also serves on the Board of Directors for The New Hope Foundation, New Jersey's premier addiction treatment center. Tim has worked with The New Hope Foundation since 2005 both as an adolescent substance abuse counselor and as the Assistant Treasurer on New Hope’s Executive Board and Finance Committee.
